With 27 years of experience in the insurance industry, Glenn Turchi has been with MGM for 19 of them. His previous work experience includes BCBS of Illinois and Fort Dearborn Life. He currently serves as the Vice President of Marketing and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Northern Illinois University. Go Huskies!
Growing up in Chicago, he is a loyal Cubs fan, having enjoyed many games at Wrigley Field with his father and grandfather. His dedication is unwavering, and he always remains hopeful that this will be the Year of the Cubs! Glenn and his wife, Cecilia, have a daughter, Carolyn. Besides being a devoted father and husband, Glenn enjoys golfing but when asked he will admit that he doesn’t play as well or as often as he’d like.
Rod Patten, Director of Sales, has been with MGM Benefits Group since 2008. Currently, he is overseeing the advancement of MGM within the private sector market. Along with his 7 years of experience in the industry, Rod also has 30+ years of experience in Management and Sales Management with both the public and private sectors. His previous work experience includes leading a team that serviced national brokers for a top 5 Wall Street firm.
Rod attended the University of Tulsa and graduated with a BSBA in Finance. His hobbies include: watching college football, fitness, cooking and playing golf.
Ryan Jones joined MGM in 2002 and currently holds the title of Director of Information Technology. With 13 years of experience, he is the designated “Mr. Fix It” of MGM Benefits Group, conquering all of the challenges of technology that can arise on a daily basis.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife, Naomi, and three kids, Lainey, Everitt and Harper. He is an active leader and volunteer at his church, Chase Oaks Church. Ryan also loves exercising, swimming, hunting, reading and metal/wood working.
Loanna Watkins joined MGM in 2007 and currently serves as the Director of Accounting. Her previous work experience includes two years of Accounting/HR work in the private medical sector as well as 4 years at a public accounting firm. In addition to her total 14 years of experience.
Loanna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a major in Finance from Columbia College, graduating magna cum laude, and is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor. Other than crunching numbers, Loanna enjoys hip-hop line dancing, traveling and is a connoisseur of wine. She is a devoted partner and loves spending her days with their adopted golden retriever.
Leslie Benavides has 12+ years of industry experience, all with MGM. She was hired into a clerical position and moved through several departments at MGM, including: Billing, Claims and Sales Support. Currently, she holds the position of Manager of TPA Services, where she oversees MGM’s TPA and Billing services. Over the last four years, Leslie has managed the Group Administration Department’s team of 5 who work very closely with our carriers, brokers and plan administrators to assure the best customer service and TPA partnerships. In 2008, she graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology while also maintaining a full-time position at MGM.
Leslie has been happily married for 8 years, and she and her husband have recently welcomed their first child. She has multiple hobbies, including: crafting, baking, party planning and enjoys watching sporting events and spending time with her family and friends.
Lisa Rabenaldt joined MGM in February 2014 as the HR Generalist, carrying 30+ years of experience in Human Resources and 1 ½ years in insurance. She graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing.
Post-college, Lisa went on to gather her HR experience with many reputable companies, such as: Texas Instruments, County Seat Stores and KPMG LLP. And outside of work, she enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends and travelling.
